Matt Picheny is VP, Interactive at Deutsch working on digital initiatives across multiple clients including Sharp (ranked as one of Ad Age’s most Social Brands of 2008), Perdue, Milk, Aruba and Outback Steakhouse. Some of Matt’s responsibilities include overseeing the development of Digital Strategy, Websites, Rich Media Banner & Email Campaigns, Online Games and Social Media Marketing.

Matt worked with the same client roster for nearly two years as the Managing Director of Interactive for Lowe New York prior to the merger with Deutsch. During his tenure at Lowe, Matt was deeply engaged with clients’ digital efforts from website development to social media activities. He was a core member of the Milk Digital Integration Team, which was responsible for all interactive activities for the Milk client across multiple agencies. For Aruba, Matt was responsible for digital strategy development, web site design and interactive program coordination integrating the output of Aruba’s agency partners in New York, Aruba, Canada, Germany, Israel and India. Matt led an interactive campaign for Sharp Electronics that surpassed all success metrics including being ranked as one of Ad Age’s most Social brands of 2008. He also led digital efforts for Perdue, Zicam, Snuggle and Outback Steakhouse.

Matt joined Lowe after serving as Executive Producer/Director of Interactive for Firebrand. Firebrand was a start-up venture funded by Microsoft, NBC Universal and GE Capital that specialized in bringing the best in creative advertising to TV, Web and Mobile Devices.

Prior to Firebrand, he worked at Ogilvy Interactive where he managed a line of Business for IBM, an e-commerce website for Sears and launched an integrated advertising campaign for Morgan Stanley. Throughout his career in digital media, Matt has worked on projects for numerous clients including Showtime, Sony, Pfizer, Maxell, Arista Records, YankeeNets and the US Department of Energy.
